The C.O.D.E. Initiative is thrilled to be coming to Sexsmith Elementary for an electrifying adventure with our Sphero Robotics program! 🤖✨
Imagine controlling your very own robot, solving exciting challenges, and bringing your wildest ideas to life through code. That's exactly what you'll do in our hands-on, action-packed workshops!
Our Sphero Robotics program provides a hands-on, collaborative learning experience in robotics and block-based coding. The curriculum emphasizes creative thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, allowing students to explore coding logic and robotics through interactive activities.
This Program is Eligible for Financial Aid

When: Fridays, 3:00 - 4:30, January 31st - March 14th
Where: General Wolfe Elementary (4251 Ontario St, Vancouver, BC V5V 3G8)
Who can come: Those in grades 2-4
Technology you will learn: learn to code, the basics of computer animation, robotics, laboratory science, art, and much more!
Number of sessions: 6 sessions
Prerequisites: None! This class is for those who are beginners and do not have extensive technical knowledge.
Materials needed: All materials will be provided but students may choose to bring a water bottle and a snack.
