Inclusivity
We aim to make our services and classes inclusive to all. We believe every student should have access to STEAM education and everyone deserves a chance to explore their potential in these fields.
We are committed to providing these opportunities to neurodivergent, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA2s+ students.
Accessibility
We strive to create accessible services and programs. Our online workshops can be taken from anywhere in the world. Our curricula were created with diverse learners in mind and are made deliberately flexible to that each course can be tailored to each student’s needs, strengths, and interests.
We are committed to making sure these opportunities are accessible regardless of financial background. With affordability in mind, all of our classes are fairly priced. We also offer bursaries (i.e., CodewithCODE), work with government bodies to be eligible for funding (i.e., Autism funding), and support families to have access to our classes despite financial backgrounds.
Diversity
We are dedicated to opening the doors for more representation in the tech industry and we believe this starts with education. We strive to keep both our staff and volunteers diverse and representative of many backgrounds. We pride ourselves in offering educational opportunities to all, with a teaching model that allows individualized support for each student.
Empowerment
We believe by creating a positive educational experience, we can empower youth to become future innovators. Many of our students have come from past educational experiences where their learning needs and strengths have been ignored and neglected, hurting their confidence and leaving them discouraged. With classes tailored to each student, we seek to empower our students to believe in their own abilities, build their self-confidence, and find passion in subjects that might have been inaccessible before.
