Discover the wonders of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Discover the wonders of Artificial Intelligence with Discover AI!

The C.O.D.E. Initiative is excited to partner with Encepta, a provider of highly configurable software for telecommunications and utility industries based in Vancouver, to host Discover AI. This one-day workshop aims to introduce students in grades 5, 6, and 7 to the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI)!

During the workshop, students will be guided by industry professionals and taught how to develop and train their own AI models to solve real-world problems. Through hands-on activities, students will gain an understanding of AI ethics, learn the basics of coding, and explore the practical applications of AI in the future.

Students will work in teams to collaboratively develop AI models that can assist in the rescue of wild animals. This workshop will focus on overcoming challenges, critical thinking, and, of course, having fun! Explore all AI has to offer in an inclusive, accessible, and supportive environment.
