Exploring Artificial Intelligence Workshop: Inspiring the Next Generation

Last year in the fall, we teamed up with Encepta to host an engaging one-day workshop focused on STEAM education. This unique event, run through registration by donation to ensure all can attend regardless of financial background, provided participants with hands-on experience in cutting-edge fields. By combining STEAM principles with practical Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, we aimed to spark curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of these crucial areas in today's tech-driven world.

During the workshop, students received guidance from Encepta’s industry experts and learned to create and fine-tune AI models for addressing real-world challenges. The hands-on approach allowed students to delve into AI ethics, grasp coding fundamentals, and investigate AI's practical uses in various fields. Working in teams, students collaboratively developed AI models that could assist in the rescue of wild animals while overcoming many challenges, developing critical thinking, and, of course, having fun!

Autism Awareness Month Fundraiser: Supporting Inclusive Education

As we celebrate Autism Awareness Month, we're excited to share that our partnership with Encepta has evolved into a fundraising campaign. This initiative supports our ongoing programs that champion accessible and inclusive education.

By raising funds during this important month, we can continue to create and maintain educational opportunities that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities. Funds raised help us host more hands-on workshops, break down financial barriers, and expand our community impact so more people can benefit from inclusive STEAM education.

As part of our ongoing collaboration, we had the incredible opportunity to host a Lunch and Talk session on accessibility in the workplace for Encepta's team.
